The A-Z of LGBTQ Inclusion training (6 hours with breaks) will allow ELSAs to gain insight and skills in understanding and addressing the needs of LGBTQ children and young people with mental health issues, and gain confidence in dealing with heterosexism, homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.
This practical workshop will aim to familiarise SENDCos, Classroom Teachers and Teaching Assistants with how to use the assistive tools in Clicker and the Clicker Sets to support learners with difficulties recording at their ability level in the classroom. Attendees will need to bring a laptop with Clicker 8/7 to the training session and be able to connect to the O2 internet service. We will be looking at the following tools; spell checker, predictive text, voice recorder, sentence sets, connect sets, word banks, Clicker board, Talk sets and Matching Sets.
