Development Opportunities

This 3.5 hour course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to those that undertake a teaching and/or lifesaving role with direct responsibility for a group of pupils swimming in shallow water (less than 1.2 metres). Courses are organised by Suffolk Norse Ltd on behalf of Suffolk County Council.

Covid measures are in place.

Course members should be aware that this is a practical course involving reaching, and wading rescues, recovery of manikins from pool floor, be able to fully submerge up to 1.2m depth, lifting, moving and turning others in water. Covid measures are in place.
