****Shallow Water Certificate Course****NEW SYLLABUS (EVENT FULL)

 
This 3.5 hour course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to those that undertake a teaching and/or lifesaving role with direct responsibility for a group of pupils swimming in shallow water (less than 1.2 metres). Courses are organised by Suffolk Norse Ltd on behalf of Suffolk County Council.

The course, in 4 parts, covers:

Part 1 - safe practice

Part 2 - recovery and removal of casualties from water

Part 3 - basic paediatric life support

Clicker 6/7 Training

 
This practical workshop will aim to familiarise SENDCos, Classroom Teachers and Teaching Assistants with how to use the assistive tools in Clicker Writer and the Clicker Sets to support learners with difficulties recording at their ability level in the classroom. Attendees will need to bring a laptop with Clicker 6/7 to the training session and be able to connect to the O2 internet service. We will be looking at the following tools; spell checker, predictive text, voice recorder, sentence sets, connect sets, word banks, Clicker board, Talk sets and Matching Sets.
