Clicker 6/7 Training

Event Code SCH 19/055
Training Provider Dyslexia
Event Description This practical workshop will aim to familiarise SENDCos, Classroom Teachers and Teaching Assistants with how to use the assistive tools in Clicker Writer and the Clicker Sets to support learners with difficulties recording at their ability level in the classroom. Attendees will need to bring a laptop with Clicker 6/7 to the training session and be able to connect to the O2 internet service. We will be looking at the following tools; spell checker, predictive text, voice recorder, sentence sets, connect sets, word banks, Clicker board, Talk sets and Matching Sets.
Training Objectives Subject Teachers, Teaching Assistants and SENDCos will feel more confident using Clicker 6/7 in the classroom to remove barriers to recording for students with dyslexia and literacy difficulties, allowing them to access the wider curriculum more effectively.
