RE for Suffolk NQTs

Event Code DIOC NQT 16/1
Training Provider Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich
Event Description Few NQTS will have had an introduction to RE as part of their initial training. This is an interactive and highly informative course which addresses the needs of NQTs. It will give them confidence and clear guidance on teaching this subject, including an introduction to practical material they can use in school. It will help them relate to a subject which plays a vital role in understanding the nature of society.

This is a re-run of the course held in January 2018. NQTs + 1 are also welcome if they missed this course earlier this year or last year. This course is for NQTs in all kinds of primary schools, including those teaching EYFS.

Cost: £100 for subscribing schools / £200 for all other schools.
Where schools book more than one delegate on the same course, each additional delegate will receive a 50% discount.
Training Objectives This course is for Suffolk NQTs, including those in EYFS, and:

• provides clear guidance on the rationale for teaching RE
• relates to the DFE Teachers’ Standards
